With hundreds of concerts in Italy and abroad, Amar Corda is a reference point when it comes to Italian music from the swing era. The group performs famous songs from the repertoire of artists such as Mina, Carosone, and Mancini, while also presenting more refined pieces by composers like Luttazzi and Arigliano.
In addition to classic Italian songs from the '50s and '60s, Amar Corda has expanded its repertoire to include songs in other languages and more modern pieces by artists like Pink Martini, Paolo Conte, and Vinicio Capossela. It is not just a tribute to the greats of the past, but a personal reinterpretation that reflects various stylistic influences, from the evolution of jazz to swing, and even Latin atmospheres such as bossa nova and bolero.
All the pieces have been specially rearranged for the ensemble, with that lively touch typical of Amar Corda, always leaving ample room for improvisation. This makes each concert a unique and engaging experience, capable of transporting the audience on a musical journey through different eras and sounds.
